Flat tire morning ride. Tiny broken glass on the road sucks bigtime. #badluck #ride #bicycle #wheel #sad (Taken with Instagram)

My grandfather’s 1980’s (now mine) bicycle & parts has been my companion for great weekend bicycle adventure/challenge. But then, my tire wear off earlier this morning. Some tiny glass pieces (i think) led my rear tire flat while riding along halfway to our journey. Good thing my companion is a “boyscout” - brought a handheld airpump + adaptor. Woohhoo!!. Pumped it so I can still make it on my way to our journey. And went flat again. Total FLAT. And so i called my father to the rescue. Ate Mcdo breakfast while waiting for him. (sunday morning bike ride should be made for exercising, not for food indulging.waahh) Thank you boys! =) though it was a “loser” ride, and was bitin, i learned some things. Some guys can still be dependable (in times of need) and ready for the rescue. And to bring an adaptor. always. totally always.
p.s. i really love what’s happening to me since i started biking. Bike has led me and my father to bond and talk about it all the time. New topic. New desire. And I made him want to restore his old bike too! yey! =) .. and so does new companions with same interests in bicycles. yey for life! yey for bicycles! =)
and from this experience, my friend told me, “Ganyan talaga ang GULONG ng buhay”. taenang quote yan. simple, laughtrip, pero ang deeeep !! =) =)

p.s. again.. our grandfathers and fathers are the original hipsters. nuff said. lol =)
